S2M Strengthens Its Governance and Accelerates Its International Development Strategy

S2M Announces Governance Restructuring with New Leadership Appointments

The Supervisory Board of S2M has undertaken a significant governance reorganization with the appointment of Mohamed Amarti-Riffi as the new Chairman of the Management Board. This decision aligns with the company’s ongoing strategy for accelerated development, aiming to enhance its international presence and expand its portfolio of solutions in the context of digital transformation and the rise of artificial intelligence.

The company, which specializes in electronic payment solutions, is thus continuing its strategic repositioning, fueled by the evolution of digital usage and the increasing digitization of transactions on a global scale.

In this context, the Supervisory Board took the opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of Rachid Abou El Bal, who led S2M with rigor and dedication. His efforts have been instrumental in strengthening the company’s leadership, driving organizational transformation, and fostering international expansion. He will now join the Supervisory Board as a member to ensure the continuity of the ongoing strategy.

Furthermore, the combined Annual General Meeting held on June 4 confirmed the appointment of Amina Figuigui as an independent member of the Supervisory Board. She will chair the Audit and Risk Committee, with the mission of reinforcing governance mechanisms and internal controls. The Assembly also approved a restructuring of the company’s statutes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

In tandem with these changes, S2M has strengthened its Management Board through several strategic appointments. Ahmed Khalil has been named Vice President of Revenue & Growth, tasked with overseeing business development, growth, and international expansion. Marouane Louah has become Vice President of Technology, responsible for technological strategy, innovation, and the transformation of the company’s platforms.

Additionally, two other executives have expanded their responsibilities: Omar Masnaoui will oversee Corporate activities, while Mohammed Chami Khazraji will manage the Product division. This revamped structure is designed to support S2M’s increasing prominence in international markets and to accelerate its positioning within the digital payments ecosystem.
