Stellantis Morocco and Crédit Agricole Launch Financing for the FIAT TRIS at SIAM 2026

Stellantis Morocco and Crédit Agricole du Maroc Announce Strategic Partnership for Rural Mobility Solutions

In conjunction with the 18th edition of the International Agriculture Show in Morocco (SIAM 2026), Stellantis Morocco and Crédit Agricole du Maroc have unveiled a new strategic partnership designed to enhance access to financing for the FIAT TRIS, an electric micro-mobility solution tailored for rural areas.

A Partnership to Support Agriculture and Rural Development

This collaboration, established through their subsidiaries Tamwil El Fellah and ARDI Microfinance, aims to assist small and medium-sized farmers, cooperatives, and agricultural associations. It also extends to individuals engaged in income-generating activities who may not always meet the requirements for traditional bank financing.

The primary objective is to offer tailored financial solutions for acquiring electric utility vehicles that align with the specific realities faced on the ground.

The FIAT TRIS: A Mobility Solution for Rural Needs

The financing initiative centers on the FIAT TRIS, an electric utility vehicle designed to meet the unique needs of rural environments. Its intended uses include:

  • Transporting fruits and vegetables to local markets
  • Moving agricultural tools and inputs
  • Supporting cooperative logistics
  • Providing rural distribution for small merchants
  • Facilitating agricultural services that require frequent travel

This solution contributes to modernizing mobility in rural areas while maintaining respect for the environment.

Breaking Financial Barriers to Professional Mobility

This program aspires to reduce the financial barriers that hinder access to professional mobility. Its goal is to sustainably support economic activity in rural regions by facilitating the work of farmers and agri-business actors with accessible and appropriate solutions.

Stellantis Morocco: Committed to Useful Mobility

Yves Peyrot des Gachons, CEO of Stellantis Morocco, emphasizes that this partnership aims to make useful mobility more accessible, particularly for those in rural areas. The FIAT TRIS, especially its Cargo Box version, directly addresses on-the-ground requirements.

Crédit Agricole du Maroc and Financial Inclusion

On the other hand, Mohammed Fikrat, Chairman of the Executive Board of Crédit Agricole du Maroc, reaffirms the group’s commitment to financial inclusion and rural development. Through Tamwil El Fellah and ARDI Microfinance, the partnership provides adapted financing solutions that promote electric mobility and foster economic development in rural territories.

A Catalyst for Rural Development

Thanks to this initiative, beneficiaries will gain access to financing options that meet the criteria set by Tamwil El Fellah and ARDI Microfinance. This partnership marks a significant step towards achieving more sustainable, inclusive mobility that caters to the needs of Morocco’s agricultural sector.
