The CAF condemns the incidents that occurred during the final of the Morocco 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has issued an official statement in which it firmly condemns the unacceptable behavior exhibited by certain players and officials following the Africa Cup of Nations final held on Sunday night in Rabat between Morocco and Senegal.
Total Rejection of Unsporting Behavior
In its statement, CAF reiterated its categorical rejection of any conduct contrary to the ethics and values of football, emphasizing that actions directed against referees or match organizers are completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
Investigation Launched and Video Analysis
The governing body of African football indicated that it has begun a thorough review of all video footage related to the incidents that marred the match, aiming to shed light on the events and accurately identify those responsible.
Sanctions in Preparation
CAF also specified that the case will be forwarded to the relevant authorities within its legal and disciplinary committees to take appropriate measures against those found guilty, in accordance with existing regulations and with the intent of preserving the integrity of African competitions.
