The General Assembly of the Royal Moroccan Table Tennis Federation Sets the 2026 Directions

The city of Mohammedia hosted the annual general assembly of the Royal Moroccan Table Tennis Federation on Saturday, April 11, 2026, for the 2025 sports season. This meeting brought together representatives from affiliated clubs and members of the board of directors in a pivotal organizational phase dedicated to evaluating the sports achievements and projecting future perspectives.

Opening and Verification of Quorum

The proceedings began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the verification of mandates and quorum, ensuring the legal regularity of this annual assembly.

Governance and Transparency at the Core of Discussions

In his opening speech, the President of the Federation, Anas Ziaty, emphasized the importance of this statutory meeting in strengthening the principles of good governance and transparency in the management of national table tennis, commending the efforts made by the various stakeholders in the discipline.

The agenda also included a review of the minutes from the previous general assembly, as well as the appointment of scrutineers and overseers of the minutes, to ensure the regularity of voting and deliberation operations.

Adoption of Moral and Financial Reports

The participants examined the moral and financial reports related to the 2025 fiscal year. These were adopted unanimously, in addition to the presentation of the auditor’s report, which provided a detailed analysis of the Federation’s financial situation.

Adoption of the 2026 Program and Governance Reforms

Regarding future perspectives, the assembly approved the projected action plan and budget project for the 2026 season. These decisions reflect a commitment to continue the development of infrastructure, training systems, and competitive levels, both nationally and internationally.

Additionally, participants validated the appointment of an auditor, the establishment of annual fees, and the nomination of officials for disciplinary bodies to strengthen governance and discipline mechanisms.

Closing of Proceedings

The proceedings concluded with the reading of a message of loyalty and fidelity addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, before the session was adjourned in an atmosphere marked by a spirit of responsibility and collective commitment to the development of Moroccan table tennis.
