The Moroccan junior taekwondo team is participating in the World Championships in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, from April 11 to 18, in an international event that brings together the best young talents in the sport.
A Strategy Focused on the Future
The Royal Moroccan Taekwondo Federation has stated that this participation is part of its strategy to nurture a new generation of elite athletes by providing them with the opportunity to compete against leading global schools and gain valuable experience.
Intensive Preparation
Moroccan athletes underwent intensive training camps characterized by a rigorous schedule, the latest of which took place at a center of excellence. These preparations, overseen by a national technical staff, emphasized enhancing the physical and technical abilities of the competitors.
Delegation Leadership and Organization
The Moroccan delegation is led by Hassan Smaïli as the mission chief, supported by a technical team comprising Reda Rachdi, Lahcen Benkrti, Hafid Boussalem, and Younes Tajji, ensuring comprehensive guidance for the team.
