Weather Forecast for Morocco: Sunday, April 12, 2026

According to the General Directorate of Meteorology, the weather in Morocco on Sunday, April 12, 2026, will be marked by instability in several regions of the Kingdom.
Rain and Cloudy Skies in Several Regions
Conditions are expected to be mostly cloudy, with rain or showers forecasted for the Oriental, the Rif, the Mediterranean coastline, as well as the peaks of the High Atlas and Middle Atlas.
Snowfall in Higher Areas
A few snowflakes are expected on the peaks of the High Atlas and Middle Atlas, due to the drop in temperatures at higher altitudes.
Clouds and Clear Spells Elsewhere
Dense low clouds will affect the northwestern Saharan provinces, while the northern and central plains will experience partly cloudy to temporarily sunny skies.
Strong Wind Gusts and Dust Swirls
Strong gusts of wind are anticipated over the Mediterranean, the Oriental region, central coastlines, and the Saharan provinces, with local dust storms possible.
Slight Increase in Temperatures
Minimum temperatures will range between -4 and 3°C in the Atlas Mountains, between 5 and 11°C in the Oriental, the Phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, and the Rif, with temperatures of 9 to 15°C expected elsewhere in the country.
Maximum temperatures will see a slight increase throughout the day.
Sea Conditions
The sea will be moderately to rough on the Mediterranean and the Strait, rough to very rough north of Larache and south of Tarfaya, and very rough between Larache and Tarfaya.
