The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts relatively warm weather this Saturday in the southern regions bordering the Sahara, while the extreme northwest, the Rif, the Mediterranean coastline, and the central northern coasts of the Kingdom will experience cloudy periods accompanied by scattered showers.
Fog and Occasionally Strong Winds
Low clouds and fog formations are also expected during the night and in the morning over the southern provinces, the Souss region, and the northern Atlantic plains. Furthermore, moderate to fairly strong gusts of wind will blow across the northern Atlantic plains and the Saharan provinces, with local dust uplift in exposed areas.
Cooling Temperatures in the North
Minimum temperatures will range from -3 to 6 degrees Celsius in the Atlas and Rif mountains, while the extreme south and southeastern regions of the country will see temperatures between 16 and 18 degrees. In the rest of the Kingdom, minimum temperatures will vary from 10 to 16 degrees.
As for daytime temperatures, a decrease is expected in the northern half of the country, while a slight increase will be noted in the Saharan provinces.
Sea Conditions
The sea will be mostly calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean, the Strait of Gibraltar, and along the Moroccan Atlantic coastline.
