Rainfall Recorded in Morocco Over the Last 24 Hours
Weather Report: Recent Rainfall Across the Kingdom
The Directorate General of Meteorology has reported that several regions of the Kingdom experienced varying levels of rainfall over the past 24 hours, with some areas seeing significantly higher totals.
Leading the way was the town of Imouzzer Ida Outanane, which recorded 31 mm of rain. This was followed by Sidi Bennour with 25 mm, and Agadir-Inzegane with 16 mm. Taroudant and Ifrane each saw 13 mm of precipitation, while Tiznit experienced 12 mm, and Agadir-Aït Melloul recorded 10 mm.
In addition, Tétouan, Taza, Nador, and El Jadida registered 6 mm of rainfall, while Fès-Saïss and Essaouira recorded 5 mm, and Taourirt noted 4 mm. The cities of Ibn Jarir, Meknès, and Al Hoceima each experienced 3 mm.
Weaker precipitation levels of around 2 mm were observed in Tan-Tan, Sidi Slimane, Settat, Mohammedia, Tit Mellil, and Chefchaouen. Finally, only 1 mm was recorded in Tanger, Oujda, Ouarzazate, Khouribga, Benslimane, and Béni Mellal.
Some localities reported very minimal amounts of rainfall, less than 1 mm, including Tanger-Port, Sidi Ifni, Nouaceur, Larache, Salé, and Marrakech.
