A 350 million dirham investment for the expansion of an aerospace industrial site in Nouaceur

Expansion of Aeronautics Industrial Site Kicks Off in Nouaceur
The construction work for the expansion of an industrial site specialized in aeronautics systems and equipment commenced on Wednesday in the Nouaceur province. With an investment of 350 million dirhams, this project is expected to create an additional 500 jobs over the next five years.
This expansion, which will encompass an additional area of 17,000 square meters, aims to support the sustained growth of industrial activities at the site and the development of new programs aimed at the global aeronautics market.
Ryad Mezzour Emphasizes the Competitiveness of the Moroccan Platform
During the launch of the project, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, highlighted that this investment showcases the remarkable development of Morocco’s aeronautics sector and confirms the Kingdom’s attractiveness to major international industrial groups.
The minister also emphasized the maturity of the national aeronautics ecosystem, its competitiveness, and the quality of local infrastructure and skills, all contributing to strengthening Morocco’s position on the global industrial stage.
Strengthening Industrial and Technological Capacities
This new phase of investment responds to the robust growth in global demand within the aeronautics sector. The project will enhance the production capacities at the site and consolidate its role in the design, assembly, and maintenance of high-tech systems intended for major international manufacturers.
The future building, designed in accordance with the standards of Industry 4.0, will house 15 new production lines that integrate innovative and sustainable solutions to improve industrial performance while reducing the environmental footprint of operations.
A Catalyst for Employment and Skill Development
The jobs generated by this project will primarily involve engineers, technicians, and specialized operators. This momentum will also be accompanied by strengthened training programs to meet the growing demand for qualified human resources in the sector.
With this investment, Morocco further consolidates its position within the global aeronautics value chain and reaffirms its status as a leading industrial hub in Africa and the Mediterranean region.
