Casablanca Hosts Three Expos Dedicated to Energy and Industry

Casablanca to Host Major Industry Trade Shows Focused on Electricity, Renewable Energy, and Industrial Technology
From November 25 to 28, 2026, Casablanca will host three major trade shows dedicated to electricity, renewable energy, and industrial technologies: Elec Expo, EneR Event, and Tronica Expo. Organized by the National Federation of Electricity, Electronics, and Renewable Energies (FENELEC) under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI, this event aims to gather local and international businesses, investors, and experts to address issues related to energy, water, and industrial sovereignty.
Positioned at the International Fair of Casablanca, this edition will be executed with Global Fairs & Events serving as the delegated organizer. Organizers anticipate a turnout of professionals from Morocco and over 30 countries, with the goal of fostering technological exchanges, industrial partnerships, and investment opportunities.
Under the theme "Vision 2030: Strategic Infrastructures & Desalination for Industrial Sovereignty," the meetings will highlight the transformations initiated by the Kingdom in the fields of energy, water, electronics, and smart industry. Italy will be the guest country for this edition.
Vision 2030: Energy and Water at the Heart of Priorities
In a context marked by tensions over energy resources, water stress, and the transformation of industrial value chains, Morocco continues to develop its strategic infrastructure. Ensuring a reliable supply of energy and water has become a major challenge for the competitiveness of companies and the industrial attractiveness of the Kingdom.
By 2030, the availability of reliable and competitive energy, modernization of electrical networks, and diversification of water resources will play a crucial role in economic development.
Desalination of seawater will be a significant topic of discussion. The development and operation of such infrastructures require complementary skills in electrotechnics, renewable energy, automation, instrumentation, and industrial control systems.
Key issues also include energy efficiency of facilities, reliability of equipment, maintenance, and mastery of production costs. These are areas where both Moroccan and international industries are invited to propose solutions tailored to the needs of major infrastructure projects.
Three Complementary Shows to Support Industry
The simultaneous holding of Elec Expo, EneR Event, and Tronica Expo will bring together several technological sectors within a single professional space.
The 19th edition of Elec Expo will focus on electrical equipment, lighting, electrotechnics, and industrial automation. Visitors can explore solutions aimed at enhancing the performance, safety, and reliability of installations in both public infrastructures and production units.
The 14th edition of EneR Event will emphasize renewable energy, energy efficiency, and decarbonization. In the context of the energy transition, this gathering will showcase technologies aimed at diversifying supply sources and optimizing consumption for businesses.
Meanwhile, the 13th edition of Tronica Expo will bring together players from the electronics, mechatronics, electronic security, smart buildings, avionics, and aerospace sectors. Smart systems and technological integration will be among the highlighted topics.
The complementary nature of these three events is expected to foster the emergence of integrated solutions that meet the needs of energy, water, and industrial projects.
Morocco Strengthens Its Industrial Positioning in Africa
The development of renewable energies, the expansion of electrical infrastructure, and investments in mobilizing water resources contribute to enhancing Morocco’s industrial attractiveness.
The Kingdom boasts several advantages, including its proximity to European markets, its logistics infrastructure, its industrial ecosystems, and its economic ties with African countries.
In this context, the trade shows organized by FENELEC serve as a platform for connecting technology providers, investors, decision-makers, and national companies.
For Moroccan industries, the stakes extend beyond merely securing new commercial contracts. They also involve developing local production capabilities, industrial integration, transfer of technology, and training for high-value-added professions.
Small and medium-sized enterprises can also benefit from these meetings to access new markets, establish partnerships, and participate in subcontracting chains linked to major infrastructure projects.
Italy in the Spotlight to Foster Technological Partnerships
Italy’s participation as a guest country will add a special dimension to this edition. A national pavilion organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) will allow Italian companies to showcase their technologies in renewable energy, electronics, and electrotechnics.
This presence aims to strengthen exchanges between Moroccan and Italian economic operators and promote the creation of industrial partnerships.
Cooperation prospects specifically target electrical equipment, automation, energy technologies, and solutions for industrial infrastructures. Positioning Morocco as a production platform and access point to African markets represents an opportunity for Italian companies looking to expand their activities on the continent.
Conferences and B2B Meetings on the Agenda
Beyond exhibition spaces, the three trade shows will feature thematic conferences, technology presentations, and B2B professional meetings. These exchanges will bring together industrialists, consulting firms, investors, public decision-makers, and project leaders.
The anticipated participation of professionals from over 30 countries, including those from Sub-Saharan Africa, is expected to enhance the international dimension of the event and open new cooperation perspectives between African and European markets.
For FENELEC, the objective is to bridge the needs of major national projects with the solutions offered by Moroccan and foreign companies while stimulating commercial and technological exchanges.
From November 25 to 28, 2026, Casablanca will thus establish itself as a meeting point for sectors involving electricity, renewable energy, and industrial technology. As we approach 2030, the challenge will be to transform this professional dynamic into productive investments, sustainable partnerships, and new opportunities for the Moroccan industry.
