The National Airports Office (ONDA) has appointed El Arbi Sebaï as the director of Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca. This appointment is part of the implementation of the “Airports 2030” strategy, which aims to modernize the Kingdom’s airport infrastructure and enhance the quality of services.
This decision comes at a time when Morocco’s primary airport is undergoing a significant transformation to accommodate the growth of air traffic and prepare for major international events, notably the FIFA World Cup 2030.
With over twenty years of experience at ONDA, El Arbi Sebaï has held various positions in airport operations and management. His career path has taken him from terminal operations management to leading the operational department of Mohammed V Airport. Since 2025, he has been responsible for strategic coordination among the different components of the airport’s platform.
Throughout his career, he has contributed to several substantial projects, including the commissioning of Terminal 1 at Mohammed V Airport. This pivotal development increased the airport’s capacity and improved passenger service quality.
As the head of the airport, El Arbi Sebaï will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, improving traveler experiences, optimizing flight punctuality, streamlining passenger flows, and strengthening safety and service standards.
This appointment also aligns with ONDA’s extensive investment program aimed at modernizing airport infrastructure, increasing capacity, and bolstering competitiveness in line with the objectives of the “Airports 2030” strategy.
