Lamborghini Strengthens Its Hybrid Lineup with a New Ultra-High-Performance Version of the Urus

Lamborghini continues to advance its strategy in the hybrid vehicle segment by unveiling a new high-performance variant of its sports SUV, the Urus SE Performante. This presentation confirms the Italian brand’s shift towards hybrid technologies, having temporarily set aside plans for fully electric models.
The new model features updated exterior aesthetics, a redesigned interior, and technical enhancements aimed at improving performance and dynamic behavior compared to previous versions.
The Urus SE Performante is powered by a plug-in hybrid system that combines an electric motor with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. Together, they produce a combined power output of 812 horsepower, making this SUV one of the most powerful models in its category.
According to Lamborghini, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 312 km/h, making it one of the fastest SUVs in the world.
Lamborghini’s CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, emphasized that this launch marks a strategic step for the brand. He believes that this model embodies Lamborghini’s vision for the future of automotive performance, blending the traditional power of internal combustion engines with next-generation hybrid technologies to strengthen the manufacturer’s position in the ultra-high-performance luxury vehicle market.
