Royal Air Maroc Renewed Its Partnership with the Religious City of Touba in Senegal

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and the Senegalese religious city of Touba renewed their partnership agreement on Thursday, aimed at facilitating travel for members of the Mouride community and supporting the organization of major religious gatherings, notably the Grand Magal of Touba.

The signing ceremony took place in Touba, attended by the city’s mayor, Abdou Lahad Kâ, the director of RAM’s commercial division, Ilham Kazzini, as well as several company officials and representatives of the Mouride community.

This agreement is part of the ongoing cooperation between the two parties. It specifically aims to address the mobility needs of worshippers, particularly those living abroad, during the key religious events held in the city.

The renewal of this partnership also reflects a commitment to strengthen ties between Morocco and Senegal, two countries united by historical, spiritual, and economic exchanges.

For Royal Air Maroc, this agreement confirms the airline’s commitment to facilitating travel for the Senegalese diaspora, thanks to its international network, especially during the significant religious events in Touba.

This arrangement comes ahead of the next edition of the Grand Magal, one of Senegal’s major religious gatherings, which attracts faithful from various regions of the country and abroad each year.
