The Mohammed VI Foundation Accelerates Hospital Digitalization through a Strategic Partnership with Numih France

The Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health is advancing the modernization of Morocco’s healthcare system through a strategic partnership established in 2025 with Numih France. This program aims to deploy digital solutions to enhance access to care, improve care quality, and boost hospital performance.
A Major Lever for Digital Transformation
This partnership is part of a broader initiative to digitize hospital facilities, with the goal of implementing secure integrated information systems.
It focuses on deploying advanced digital solutions that facilitate better coordination among various medical and administrative services.
The Rabat Hospital as a Pilot Project
The first tangible outcome of this partnership is the Mohammed VI International University Hospital in Rabat, which has completed the full deployment of the Digital Patient File system, **Sillage**, within six months.
This system enables:
- Faster patient care,
- Improved care coordination,
- Secure sharing of medical data,
- Overall enhancement of the patient journey.
The system is complemented by the administrative software **Pastel**, which optimizes the management of hospital data.
Significant Improvement in Hospital Performance
According to the data provided, the integration of these tools has resulted in approximately a 30% improvement in the operational efficiency of the facility.
The system also helps reduce errors and streamline communication between medical and administrative teams.
Intelligent Integration of Medical and Administrative Data
For Mostafa Lassik, General Director of Numih France, one of the main challenges of this project was adapting the billing model to the Moroccan context.
The interconnection between the electronic patient file and administrative systems now allows for:
- Unique data entry at the source,
- Automatic sharing among services,
- Enhanced reliability of information.
This integration ensures continuity between medical and administrative aspects while bolstering data security.
Towards a Unified National Hospital System
Given these results, the program is set to expand to other hospital facilities, particularly in Bouskoura, Casablanca, and Dakhla.
This expansion aims to lay the groundwork for a unified national hospital information system that is more efficient and interconnected.
This partnership between the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health and Numih France marks a significant milestone in the digital transformation of the Moroccan hospital sector. It paves the way for a more efficient, connected, and patient-centered healthcare system.
