The Raja reignites the title race and seizes first place.

The 19th round of the “Inwi” Botola Pro delivered on its promise, offering suspense and twists at the top of the standings. With a crucial 2-0 away victory against Maghreb de Fès, Raja Club Athletic has taken over the leadership of the championship.

A Crucial Victory in Fès

In the standout match of the day held in Fès, Raja demonstrated remarkable realism to secure an important win against a direct competitor for the title.

With this victory, the “Greens” now sit alone at the top with 39 points, just one point ahead of Maghreb de Fès. This success also reaffirms Raja’s resurgence in the fight for the national crown.

AS FAR Misses an Opportunity

On the other hand, AS FAR missed the chance to take control of the championship after a 1-1 draw at home against Olympic Safi.

The military club now slips to third place with 37 points as the title race remains extremely tight.

Renaissance Berkane and Wydad Lurk in the Shadows

RS Berkane also secured a spectacular win against Union Touarga, finishing 4-3 in a match filled with goals and intensity, solidifying their position among the top teams.

Meanwhile, Wydad Athletic Club bounced back to winning ways after a series of inconsistent results, dominating COD Meknès 2-0. However, the Casablanca club still trails their historic rival, Raja, by five points.

In other matches of the day, FUS Rabat and Ittihad Tanger ended in a draw (1-1).

A similar outcome was seen between Difaâ El Jadida and Hassania Agadir in a fiercely contested encounter, concluding with a score of 2-2.

At the bottom of the standings, Olympique Dcheira and Union Yacoub El Mansour played to a stalemate (1-1), while Kawkab Marrakech suffered a home defeat against Renaissance Zemamra, ending with a score of 2-1.

A Title Race More Open than Ever

Following this 19th round, the race for the title remains completely open. Raja, Maghreb de Fès, and AS FAR are tightly positioned with very few points separating them, while Renaissance Berkane and Wydad continue to apply pressure at the top of the table.
