Weather Forecast: Warm Temperatures and Windy Conditions Expected
The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that this Wednesday will see relatively warm weather in the southern Saharan provinces of the Kingdom, amid a general rise in temperatures across several regions.
Maximum temperatures are predicted to experience a slight increase in most areas, while the northern coasts and the Mediterranean front will register limited variations.
Moderate to Strong Wind Gusts Anticipated
Moderate to strong wind gusts are expected in the southeast, the central Atlantic plains, the High Atlas, and the southern provinces. These winds may be accompanied by local dust storms, especially in desert areas and exposed regions.
Contrasting Minimum Temperatures
Minimum temperatures will range between 4 to 10 degrees Celsius in the Atlas and Rif mountain ranges, while the southeast and east of the Saharan provinces will see temperatures oscillating between 15 to 21 degrees. In the rest of the country, minimum temperatures are predicted to be between 10 and 15 degrees, with a generally stable weather pattern during the night and morning hours.
Sea Conditions: Calm to Strong in the South
As for sea conditions, the Mediterranean and the strait will be mostly pleasant to slightly choppy, while the waters between Cape Spartel and Casablanca will remain calm. The majority of the Atlantic coast will experience a similar pattern, although locally strong conditions are expected in the extreme southern region of the Kingdom.
