Air Nostrum launches a direct route between Malaga and Tangier for the summer season.

New Seasonal Air Route from Malaga to Tangier by Air Nostrum
The Spanish airline Air Nostrum, a regional carrier affiliated with Iberia, is set to launch a new seasonal flight connecting Malaga to Tangier starting on July 18. This initiative is part of the airline’s efforts to enhance its summer schedule.
The service will operate three flights per week to meet the high demand observed during July and August, a period that sees an influx of tourists and the return of Moroccans living abroad (MRE).
Improved Connectivity Between Southern Spain and Northern Morocco
The new route will provide a direct connection from Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport to Tangier-Ibn Battouta Airport, offering a quicker and more convenient option for travelers, whether they are tourists, professionals, or members of the Moroccan diaspora.
This addition is part of the airline’s summer program, which will see an expansion of over 20 flight routes through increased frequencies and capacities to various destinations.
Additionally, Air Nostrum will also strengthen its connection between Malaga and Nice, with a daily flight operating until the end of August.
The launch of this new route will enhance air connectivity between Andalusia and northern Morocco, supporting tourism exchanges, economic interactions, and seasonal travel throughout the summer.
