Hanane Mourchid Represents OCP at the UN Global Business Forum on SDGs 2026

Hanane Mourchid, General Director of Sustainability & Green Utilities at the OCP Group, participated in the Global Business Forum on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG Global Business Forum 2026), held alongside the United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development.

Alongside representatives from governments, international organizations, and the private sector, she spoke during a session dedicated to Sustainable Development Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).

During her address, Hanane Mourchid emphasized that for the OCP Group, sustainable industrialization is a lever for competitiveness, long-term resilience, and the creation of economic, environmental, and social value rather than a constraint.

"Many of the challenges we faced in implementing our sustainability strategy have turned into new opportunities to strengthen our resilience and create sustainable value across economic, environmental, and social dimensions," she stated.

The discussions also highlighted the crucial role of public-private partnerships in developing resilient industrial ecosystems and accelerating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
