Chinese Company Jiangsu Aishelun Medical Technology Begins Construction of Medical Device Manufacturing Facility in Morocco
The Chinese group Jiangsu Aishelun Medical Technology has officially commenced construction of its future medical device manufacturing plant in Morocco, confirming the country’s rise in the health equipment industry.
The project is situated within the Mohammed VI Tanger Tech City, a strategic industrial zone located in the north of the country, near the Tanger Med port. This location enhances the site’s attractiveness for industrial investments aimed at export markets.
According to available information, this industrial unit will be developed by the Moroccan subsidiary, InnovMed Tech Group, marking the group’s tangible entry into its production phase in Morocco. The site will cover a total area of approximately 60,000 square meters, with more than 31,000 square meters dedicated to production facilities, logistics spaces, and offices.
The factory is set to produce significant volumes of medical consumables annually, including absorbent protective gear, adult diapers, and urinary bags, targeting several international markets, including Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
This project represents an estimated investment of around 20 million euros and is part of the Chinese group’s strategy for international expansion, aiming to strengthen its presence in emerging markets while leveraging Morocco’s logistical infrastructure.
Through this establishment, Morocco reaffirms its strategy to develop the health industry and reduce reliance on imports, while consolidating its position as a regional industrial platform with high added value.
