Three Moroccan Startups to Represent Morocco in the Final of the Orange Social Entrepreneurship Prize

Three Moroccan startups will represent the Kingdom at the international finals of the 16th edition of the Orange Social Entrepreneur Prize in Africa and the Middle East (POESAM 2026) after clinching the top three positions in the national competition.
According to data released by Orange Morocco, the 2026 edition received a total of 345 applications. Fourteen startups were selected to participate in the national final following a rigorous evaluation conducted by a jury of experts and representatives from Orange Morocco.
The first national prize was awarded to AgroLora for its technology solution that leverages the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence. This innovative approach enables the monitoring of agricultural operations and enhances management practices, aiming to improve the sustainability and efficiency of farming methods.
The second place was secured by Invirtus, which has developed a digital platform utilizing artificial intelligence in the recruitment sector. This solution focuses on accurately assessing candidates’ true skills and their alignment with the needs of the job market.
Completing the podium, Arwa Solutions offers a technological solution aimed at the agricultural sector. Their platform connects farmers with advisors who use artificial intelligence tools, helping them adopt more sustainable agricultural practices and improve their decision-making processes.
The jury evaluated the projects based on three main criteria: the level of innovation, the viability and growth potential of their business model, and the expected social impact of their proposed solutions.
In addition to their national recognition, the three startups will benefit from support programs provided by Orange Digital Center and Orange Fab Maroc. These initiatives include training, mentorship, and assistance designed to accelerate project development and strengthen their business models.
The three winners will then proceed to the international finals of POESAM 2026, which will bring together startups from various countries across Africa and the Middle East. This stage will give them the opportunity to present their solutions to a broader network of stakeholders and experts in innovation and social entrepreneurship.
According to Hendrik Kasteel, General Manager of Orange Morocco, the group’s ambition goes beyond merely rewarding innovative ideas; it also includes providing entrepreneurs with the essential tools and resources to foster their growth.
