Moroccan-Kazakhstan Businesswomen Forum: Strengthening Economic Ties Through Female Entrepreneurship
The Moroccan Women Association Acting International Business (MOWAIB) and the Association of Business Women of Kazakhstan (ABWK) organized the Morocco-Kazakhstan Businesswomen Forum in Casablanca, aimed at enhancing economic relationships between the two countries through female entrepreneurship.
The event brought together female entrepreneurs, economic leaders, and business representatives from Morocco and Kazakhstan to explore new opportunities for cooperation, trade, and investment.
Partnerships in Strategic Sectors
The agenda featured several networking sessions and B2B meetings designed to foster partnerships among women-led businesses. Discussions focused on sectors with high potential, including agribusiness, tourism, logistics, textiles, wellness, education, e-commerce, and new technologies. Participants also debated ways to boost trade exchanges and increase the presence of female-led companies in new international markets.
A Three-Year Strategic Partnership Signed
A highlight of the forum was the signing of a three-year memorandum of understanding between MOWAIB and ABWK, aimed at strengthening their cooperation. This agreement seeks to promote female entrepreneurship, support the development of SMEs, startups, and cooperatives led by women, while encouraging cross-investments and economic missions between Morocco and Kazakhstan.
Facilitating Access to International Markets
The partnership also includes plans to organize economic forums, training programs, and joint initiatives designed to enhance female entrepreneurs’ skills and create new business opportunities. Through this collaboration, both associations aim to ease the access of women-led businesses to African, Arab, and Central Asian markets, promoting the development of a sustainable economic network between the two countries.
This initiative exemplifies Morocco and Kazakhstan’s shared commitment to leveraging female entrepreneurship as a catalyst for economic cooperation, innovation, and international trade development.
